Why do I get a warning notification and/or mail from Instagram when I login to your application?Instagram places great importance on the security of your account and you, and therefore wants to notify you of any activity that may seem suspicious. Since you are logging into Instagram through a platform you have not used before, Instagram notifies you. The warning message can be sent as a notification or a mail. Notification example: Mail example: If the location shown as newly logged in on the incoming notification screen is not your location, this problem is caused by Instagram. Instagram may be using your IP location instead of your device location. If you are on cellular data this may be because your phone network may be using a close by hub city instead of your city as the location. You have nothing to worry about. No one else enters your account and no action can be taken without your consent. You can read our Privacy Policy for more information about the data privacy.
